What Is 3D Massage Technology?

Massage rollers have advanced quite a bit since the modern massage chair made its way to the market. Each manufacturer has created their own way to provide you with a relaxing massage and has been creating new advancements every day. One of these advancements is the 3D massage roller! This massage roller is outfitted with massage heads that can protrude from the track an additional 10cm +/- to massage deeply into your back muscles and reach much further up your shoulder and neck. This technology has a number of benefits over your typical massage roller, which are:
  • Improved Deep Tissue Massage – The extra protrusion allows the massage rollers to massage deeply into your muscles so you receive much deeper relief from your massage experience.
  • Additional Control Over Your Massage – 3D massage rollers come with additional levels of adjustability so you can find the perfect massage strength for you.
  • Improved Coverage of the Neck and Shoulders – Since the massage heads can protrude from the track your massage will provide a much better experience around the shoulders and neck as the rollers can now reach areas that previously would have gone without.

4D Massage Technology

3D massage technology has been taken one step further with 4D massage technology. This improves upon the design of the protruding massage heads and allows them to rotate to the side so it can target hard to reach muscles, like the ones between your shoulder blades and spine. This technology also provides a much better shoulder massage than standard 3D massage rollers. Since this technology needs to be able to target specific muscles, the body scanning technology that accompanies it had to improve as well. With 4D massage technology, the body scanning detects your shoulder blades, as well as the height of your shoulders and curvature of your back.
